One tee, Two ways

Graphic tees have been one of the most coveted fashion items in the last year (remember the Gucci tee?). A normal jeans and tee formula can be an easy fall back, but instead, think outside the box and consider dressing it up and down for different occasions. Take a look at my two different looks featuring my vintage Seattle Sonics tee.
The first look is a casual option. I paired it with some vintage printed cutoffs, a kitschy pastel necklace, and a simple black bag. With the print of the tee and the print of the shorts, there is a lot going on, but if you keep both prints in the same color palettes (here there is some green, red and yellow in both prints), it seems less ~crazy~. I chose the necklace as a last minute option and the pastel colors add some girliness to an otherwise tomboy look. To finish I kept it simple with a black straw bag tying in the black of the t-shirt and some neutral heeled clogs.

Consider this next look an option for a girls’ night out. Maybe you’re just going to a hip new restaurant or wine bar and want to look fun but not too over-the-top. Lingerie dressing is another big trend, so throw a little slip dress over a graphic tee so the print peeks out a little at the top. This red slip is a good option for the night because it stands out in a sea of black. For shoes I’d pair a simple two-strap sandal with this look, perhaps leopard print or black, and throw my hair in a high, teased pony.
