Every so often I get an inkling for one certain fashion item. I have yet to find the root of my fashion triggers because there is no clear pattern. It may be the biggest trend at the moment or it may be something so inherently cool that I believe it deserves more attention. Sometimes the obsession quickly comes and goes (RIP my choker phase) and sometimes I never end up buying said item so it will still linger in my mind (faux fur bomber from The Design Studio). As I am the type of person who listens to one song 30 times in a row because I love it so much, I have discovered similar habits with my wardrobe. My fashion impulses make me indulge in multiples of my current obsession until my once strong desire fades. It can be a good thing, really. Maybe the trend wasn't that good. Or maybe I just ruined a great piece for myself.
While I am on the topic of fashion obsessions, let me clue you in to my most recent one. It isn't overly trendy. Although, I have noticed it on some Instagram vintage accounts. It's beautifully made with a touch of luxury that doesn't scream fashion. And for some reason I feel a natural inclination to be nestled in a cozy wool cardigan, preferably something with a Nordic look in a print that doesn't scream Christmas.
