How to Wear Pajamas in Public Pt 2

Obsessed with the silky textures of the pajama trend, I decided to do a second post about how to elevate your pjs for a fashionable look (check out the first post here). In this outfit, I layered a long silky robe with a classic summer combo of a cami (I'm wearing this same top in another post) and denim cut-offs (I know, I wear high-waisted denim a lot). You can also have the same look by replacing the robe with a long duster or kimono, but the combination of the sheen, oversize sleeves, and millennial pink color of the robe really make for a dramatic on-trend look. This is a good outfit to transition into fall because it has more layers, but is still light and airy for afternoon warm weather. To contrast all the pink, I added black accessories with the wide-brimmed hat and Daniel Wellington watch. I always like to add elements of contrast in my outfits because it adds eye-catching and unexpected interest. If you "match" or try to have the outfit all one particular style it tends to be mundane and lack creativity, in my opinion. I recently read an article on Man Repeller (my fav blog) about "baguette bags", and I admit, I used to not understand these little 2000-era bags but I'm honestly OBSESSED now (let's see how long that lasts). I snagged this little "preloved" Chanel bag from Marque Supply and it is so on-trend. It's funny how certain items can suddenly spark interest and excitement in more ways than before, but that really is the nature of the fast-paced fashion industry. To complete the look, I added some dark "couch floral" booties. Check out my second pj-inspired look below:
